Agreement between User and BJJLINK
Welcome to https://bjjlink.com. The website (the “Site”) is operated by BJJLINK LLC (“BJJLINK”). Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully and retain a copy for your records.
BJJLINK is a Jiu Jitsu Social Network and Academy Management Software platform. It consists of:
- BJJLINK Social, a free community network for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners worldwide.
- BJJLINK Admin+, a paid software solution for academies, providing tools for student management, attendance tracking, curriculum building, membership management, and more.
Privacy
Your use of the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our data collection and usage practices.
Electronic Communications
By visiting the Site or emailing BJJLINK, you consent to receive electronic communications. You agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You accept responsibility for all activities under your account. BJJLINK reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.
Children Under Thirteen
BJJLINK may collect limited personal information from children under 13 when academies create accounts on their behalf. This information is strictly for academy management (e.g., attendance, belt progression, membership). Parents with concerns should contact their academy or BJJLINK directly.
Cancellation & Refunds
BJJLINK Admin+ subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
Third-Party Links & Services
The Site may include links to third-party websites. BJJLINK is not responsible for the content or policies of these external sites. Certain services may be provided by third parties under contract with BJJLINK.
Intellectual Property
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site. All content, software, and materials remain the property of BJJLINK or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, resell, or exploit Site content without explicit written permission.
Communication Services
The Site may include forums, chats, or similar features. You agree to use them responsibly and not post unlawful, abusive, or harmful content. BJJLINK reserves the right to moderate or remove content and terminate accounts that violate policies.
User Submissions
BJJLINK does not claim ownership of content you submit but reserves the right to use, display, and distribute submissions for operation of its services. You remain responsible for the rights to your content.
International Users
If accessing from outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BJJLINK against claims, liabilities, and expenses resulting from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.
Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. Class actions and collective claims are expressly waived; disputes must be handled individually.
Liability Disclaimer
The Site and its services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BJJLINK is not liable for any damages resulting from use of the Site.
Termination
BJJLINK may terminate or restrict access at any time without notice. This Agreement is governed by the laws of California, USA.
Changes to Terms
BJJLINK reserves the right to update or change these Terms at its discretion. The most current version will always apply.
